𝐀𝐮𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐲 𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧 is a senior at Dimmitt ISD. Ms. Wooten has been involved with Dimmitt FFA since she became a junior member in the third grade.

▪️ Reserve Grand Champion Steer at the Castro County Fair

⭐️ Volunteers at local food bank frequently & helps with Snak-Pak for Kids throughout the school year. Audrey is also very active in her church & helps prepare meals for Wednesday night services.

Audrey plans to pursue an animal science/pre-vet degree, but is undecided about where she is headed. Her top three choices are Texas Tech University, Oklahoma State University or Kansas State University.

(A picture from 2019! Ag teacher fail! I didn't take one today 😢) Way to go to our Agricultural Advocacy team who placed 8th at Area today. The team was represented today by Josiah Rodriguez, Hannah Simpson, and Klancy Bruton. Gains Lunsford was on the Area qualifying team at District.

Congratulations to the Senior Skills team on placing 5th at Area today! We are really proud of these students and their hard work this year!! Team members are Anna Wooten, Roberto Navarijo, and Audrey Wooten.

Dimmitt FFA had a great day at District LDE contest today! We took 10 students to complete and were really pleased with our success! We had had 2 Senior Quiz teams, one Greenhand Quiz team, 2 Greenhand Creed Speakers, an Agricultural Advocacy team, and a Senior Skills Demonstration team. The Ag Advo team, made up of Hannah Simpson, Klancy Bruton, and Gains Lunsford, placed 2nd and will advance to Area. The Senior Skills team of Anna Wooten, Audrey Wooten, and Robert Navarijo placed 1st and will also advance to Area! We are proud of all of our students!
