Good afternoon! Here’s the week ahead for August 23-29:

- Monday Night Rehearsal 6-8pm: Last bit of first movement to learn. Let’s work efficiently!
- Friday Night Football vs Sundown: Be in the band hall @5:15pm with uniform on! (Guard, we’ll discuss what to wear later) Prepare to run through a few stand tunes and bits of the show music. Moving stuff and ourselves to the field around 6pm.

EDIT: There IS Friday school this week!!!

Take care of business and be at all events on time, with your materials, and with a good attitude! Go Bobcats!

HEY BAND! Hope the first week of school was good to y’all!

REMINDER: 10am-12pm rehearsal TOMORROW! Let’s get as much done on first movement as possible for the first game next week!

Monday Night Rehearsals start up this Monday, 8/24 from 6-8pm and will continue until the end of the season. Make every night count!

- Board Game Night 5-8pm tomorrow night! Bring your favorite board games and card games. Maybe bring a snack or two?? Just be sure to clean up after yourselves!

- Meet The Bobcats starting at 7pm Monday night! Rehearsal still starts at 5pm, but we promise not to tire y’all out on music. Make sure you wear any band shirt you have or a Dimmitt ISD shirt of some sort.

- August 3-7 (Mon-Fri): Full Band 5-8pm! More work on marching fundamentals and music. YOU ARE REQUIRED TO BE HERE! The band doesn’t work well when you’re not here!

- Saturday, August 8 (Optional): Board Game Night 5-8pm! Bring your favorite board games and card games, and bring a few snacks too!

Reminders:
- 4 THINGS: Handbook, UIL Form, Physical, and Band Fee. Get those turned in to me BEFORE THE 1ST DAY OF SCHOOL!
