Fileys Nursery School Preschool located in Dillsburg, PA. We offer preschool classes for 3, 4 & 5 year olds Our program emphasizes learning as an interactive process.

Fileys Nursery School offers a unique preschool experience to 3, 4 & 5 year old children. Each child is a unique individual, bringing to school a special personality, pattern of growth, personal learning style and background. Young children learn when there is opportunity for interaction between their thoughts and experiences, with materials, ideas and people. At Fileys Nursery School, we offer a

program that is child-centered and based on two dimensions of developmental appropriateness. Our curriculum provides for all areas of a child's development: physical, emotional, social, cognitive and spiritual. The environment is prepared to allow children to learn through active exploration and interaction with other children, materials and caring adults. Our activities are concrete, real and relevant to the lives of young children.

Yesterday, the PreK class had their final Lunch Bunch, and it was a royal celebration! 👑✨

The students enjoyed a feast with friends, a magical bubble-popping dance party, decorating crowns, and going on an exciting quest to rescue the princess from a fire-breathing dragon! First, they galloped on their horses to the dragon’s cave, then bravely tossed sleeping potion to make the dragon fall asleep. Once the princess was rescued from her cage, the children crossed crocodile river on a balance beam and hopped across the rocks to return her safely to the castle! 🐉🏰💫

It was a fun-filled afternoon full of imagination!

The children had so much fun riding their bikes and scooters with friends in the sunshine. We also enjoyed playing with chalk and blowing lots of bubbles! It was a day full of smiles and outdoor fun. 💛

Bus Day was a big hit in PreK! 🚌💛
To help our students get ready for kindergarten, Pam Geisler from Kauffman Bus Service Inc. visited to teach us all about bus safety. The children even got to take a short ride on the bus.

This special experience helps ease any worries about riding the bus to school next year. We are so proud of our brave little riders! Thank you, Pam! 😊

This spring, our Pre-K class tried something new during our plants unit—Grass Heads! 🌱

They were a huge success! First, students decorated their cups with fun faces, then filled them with soil and planted seeds. Just a few days later, we started to see sprouts! The children loved checking on their Grass Heads each morning and watching them grow.

Today was extra fun—we gave them “haircuts” and styled their grassy hair! ✂️

Check out these awesome before-and-after pictures! An added bonus was being able to see the roots growing through the clear cups. 🌿

PreK March More Fun! Too many pictures to fit in one post! 🌟

Students loved our classroom “restaurant,” dinosaur fun, and celebrating St. Patrick’s Day 🍀. During D Week, we had our very first dance class! 💃

We ended with an egg-citing Easter Egg Hunt 🐣—so many sweet memories! 💛

Our PreK class went on their spring field trip to Monaghan Township Volunteer Fire Company! 🚒🔥

We started with a fun fire safety video, then learned all about the gear firefighters wear.

The excitement was through the roof as we explored the fire trucks and tools—just look at those smiles behind the wheel! 😊 To top it all off, students had a blast spraying the hose.

Such a fun and memorable morning! Thank you, Fire Chief Steve! ❤️
