🎉 Exciting News from Odyssey! 🎉

Starting in September, our Odyssey family is growing! We are so excited to welcome even more children as we open our third classroom! 💛

Our classrooms will be:
👶 Infant Room: 0–18 months
🌱 Toddler Room: 18 months–3 years
🎨 Preschool Room: 3–5 years

We’ll be hosting an Open House before the new school year begins, where families can meet our amazing team, see our classrooms, and learn more about what’s in store for the year ahead!

To kick things off, we’re excited to reintroduce and introduce all of our wonderful teachers, beginning with our Lead Teachers! We are incredibly excited for each of them to lead their classrooms, build meaningful relationships with our kiddos, and help them grow, learn, and become amazing little people. 🥰

Stay tuned as we introduce our Lead Teachers and share more about the incredible educators who make our Odyssey family so special! ❤️

At Odyssey, some of our favorite days are field trip days! 💚 Watching our children explore, laugh, and make memories together reminds us that some of the best learning happens outside the classroom. Whether they're climbing, running, or simply playing with friends, these experiences help build confidence, creativity, friendships, and a lifelong love of learning.

Summer is in full swing, and we are making the most of every minute outside! Our kiddos have been staying cool with water play, running through sprinklers, splashing with friends, and enjoying all the excitement that comes with sunny summer days. 🌈

Outdoor play is a favorite part of our day—it gives children the chance to explore, move their bodies, build friendships, and create wonderful memories together. Whether they're giggling as they run through the sprinklers, discovering new ways to play with water, or simply enjoying the sunshine, there's never a dull moment!🌻💙

Teacher Appreciation Week may have come and gone, but celebrating our amazing teachers is never late in our book 💐✨
We loved getting together for a sweet evening of bouquet making to spoil the wonderful teachers who pour so much love, patience, encouragement, and care into all the kiddos every single day. These teachers do so much behind the scenes, and we are endlessly grateful for all they do — our classrooms are better because of them! 🍎💕

🌸 We’ve been keeping busy and having so much fun lately!
We’ve been making beautiful flowers, chasing bubbles outside, and going on lots of walks to explore nature. Along the way, we’ve been spotting birds and creating our own versions of the ones we see! 🐦

We’ve also been diving into science with homemade volcanoes and hands-on experiments — lots of excitement, curiosity, and learning happening every day! 🌋✨

We are always so proud of all the creativity, imagination, and teamwork everyone has been showing lately. 💛

Last week, we had so much fun celebrating the Week of the Young Child! 🎉

It was such a wonderful opportunity to get all children involved—encouraging them to explore, express themselves, and build connections through fun, meaningful activities. The joy, creativity, and excitement throughout the week truly made it special.

Each day brought a unique theme that inspired learning and engagement:
🎶 Music Monday – We sang, danced, and explored rhythm together
🍎 Tasty Tuesday – We enjoyed getting to make crafts with fruit loops, and did an apple tasting lesson
🤝 Work Together Wednesday – We focused on teamwork, cooperation, and building together with the help of a parachute
🎨 Artsy Thursday – We expressed creativity through art and imagination
👨‍👩‍👧 Family Friday – We celebrated families and strengthened connections between home and school, we had donuts at drop off and updated our family walls!

Spring learning is in full bloom in our classroom 🌱☁️

This week we’ve been diving into all things growth and change! The kids have been exploring how plants grow—getting their hands dirty, planting seeds, and learning what plants need to thrive. There’s already so much excitement waiting those first little sprouts to appear!

We’ve also been looking up to the sky and learning about clouds—talking about the different types we see and what they might tell us about the weather. The curiosity and questions have been so fun to listen to!

It’s been a wonderful way to connect everything to the season of spring—new life, new growth, and lots of discovery. 🌷💚
