Meet Bob! One of my clients is looking to Re-🏠 this sweet guy.
He’s an 18-20 year old, ~16hh, sorrel gelding. He would make a great buddy horse if you have one that doesn’t like being left alone when you take the others out.

Bob has all the following going for him -
✅ gets along with mares and geldings
✅ great to catch
✅ is RESPECTFUL at the end of the lead rope
✅ ties, sends, leads great
✅ loads and rides well in the trailer
✅ great with his front feet and just got them trimmed 8/18/2026
✅tolerates brushing and pets
✅good with dogs
✅had a coggins, strangles, and 5-way all done July 2025

Bob is NOT a riding horse. I had him in for 30 days of ground work last summer and he KNOWS his stuff on the ground, he’s just not safe to be ridden. Being listed just because the owners have two other sweet riding geldings and don’t want Bob spending so much time alone.

Venus is cruising along! She’s doing great with sending and transitions, she’s finding a stop, she’s great with the flag, forehand turns and hindquarter disengagements. Today she got saddled! She’s also majorly gaining on getting caught - she walked right up twice today and got caught with no treats!

Little Venus is starting to get more comfy with the halter and greet me with her head instead of immediately turning her butt to me, Foxy and I had a great little ride, and QT has been practicing standing tied, getting saddled, and following the lead rope!

Willow went home this weekend! Definitely gonna miss having this girl around. Our original goal was to get her started, but we never got over the big saddling issue. I’ve done lessons and worked with her off and on since fall 2024 so I was SO excited to get her going and I’m really disappointed we just couldn’t get there. She is an angel on the ground now and we worked through a lot of big behavioral problems. She was a TOUGH cookie and definitely made me think outside the box for getting her through a lot of our problems. I’m super thankful to her owners for their trust and patience, and wish them the best with whatever they decide for her 🫶

Lots of round pen time this past weekend! All 3 girls are moving good, sound, and working on turning in to me instead of into the panels, picking up correct leads, transitions and stops. Foxy had no trouble at all, QT needs a little more work on carrying herself and her stops, and Venus just needs a little more work on it all the way around - but she did much better than I expected!

Welcome back, Foxy! This sweet mare was in last summer and I absolutely loved working with her. She’s had some back soreness and has gotten out of shape, so she’s here now to slowly get legged up again!

Venus and I have been working on moving her body and not giving me her butt, catching, sending, and just feeling out what needs worked on. She was originally taught with treat training and to be haltered from straight in front of her face and getting her nose first, instead of standing next to her neck and gathering her head to the halter. We’ll definitely be working on getting her caught “normally” and continue Alyssa’s work on her not being so reactive with that. Alyssa and I would also like to - sooner than later - get her off the treat and clicker training and into more pressure and release training before she finds her new home. She does amazing with her feet and will be getting trimmed up soon too!
