Sherrie's Family Daycare is owned and operated by Sherrie Riggleman. Sherrie is certified in pediatric First Aid and CPR. Offers care from 6 weeks to 13th birthday. She offers a in-home base Preschool curriculum program in a creative environment. Sherrie's preschool program prepares children socially and academically, as well as, supports and encourages the development of independence, and confid

ence, all of which are essential for the child's ongoing success in Kindergarten. Her daycare/preschool room arrangement creates the optimum learning environment. It allows children easy access to educational toys, materials and books, enabling them to initiate and expand their activities. Sherrie is organized with areas for circle time, art creativity, imagination play, and reading in addition to gross motor play outside in a large area. Also, CACFP food program is offered. Sherrie excepts ELRC and private pay.

Today we started to learn the process of how plants drink water. We will be observing the plants drinking water through a process called osmosis. Osmosis is the movement of a liquid into a living thing. 🌼🌻
We are excited to see how the next few days progress.

🐛🦋 Over the past five weeks we have been observing the cycle of butterflies. Everyone absolutely had a blast. We had seven out of nine that emerged into butterflies. We released them today. The children were able to pick their favorite and name it. Everyone had such an amazing time observing them daily. I certainly plan on doing them again. 🐛🦋
