Fall Sports kick off today with High School Volleyball traveling to Oakley for a Volleyball Jamboree. There will be a JV Set inbetween the varsity games.

Schedule Update: The Junior High Football and Volleyball games originally scheduled for September 3rd at Quinter have been MOVED to being played at Dighton. We will play at the same time Volleyball at 4:30pm and Football at 5:30pm.

It is Booster Club enrollment time (through Sept. 1st) for the 2026-2027 school year. Reminder that a family/single membership fee is $25 and a business is $50. Please Venmo Katie Beach or mail to PO Box 92. Before you do so, however, please look over the following information. I frequently get asked, “what does my membership go towards?”

The following gives a better answer than I ever could:
Booster Club finances for the 2025-2026 year:
$50 Student trip
$864 Senior banners
$400 DES school supply fund
$1000 New popcorn machine for concessions
$150 State VB donation
$102 State VB 4 way signs
$200 Band trip
$200 Art club trip
$200 English club trip
$50 Pizza party for pep band/cheerleaders
$155 State BB advertisement
$100 DES state testing snacks
$500 Timer for invitational track meet
$150 State track donation
$186 State BB and state track 4 way signs
$1400 $100 donation to 14 individual activities (JH cheer, HS BB, etc.)

Just over $5700 is what the Booster Club gave out, and as you can see, it helped virtually every single student. To contrast, the only “money makers” we had this last school year were 1) membership drive, 2) a soup supper, 3) we worked (a LONG day) of concessions for the JH/HS invitational track meet in May, and 4) our merchandise sales.

We will be having an informational meeting for DCCC students and parents on Monday, August 10th, at 6:00 pm in the HS Library. Please attend and bring any questions you have. Below is a link to the Academic Calendar for DCCC for this year.
