This semester, our service learning project empowered students to make a tangible difference in their community by creating shelf-stable meal kits for the local Help Center. With funds raised from the sale of our basketball program, teams of 3-5 students were tasked with designing and budgeting a recipe using shelf-stable ingredients, including a protein source. Through online shopping and clever budgeting, they successfully assembled 100 meal kits, demonstrating the potential for collective action to drive positive change!
