End of Year Checkup // Our students in Grades 2–6 recently demonstrated some impressive growth in their spring assessments! Because our assessments are a nationally normed platform, our students’ academic milestones are benchmarked directly against peers across the entire United States, rather than just locally.
While the national public school average sits at the 50th percentile—the standard baseline for grade-level proficiency—White Stone Academy students advanced far ahead, proving their commitment to true subject mastery:
2nd Grade Reading Fluency: Mastered an impressive average placement in the 62nd percentile nationally (leaping by an impressive +24 words/minute).
3rd Grade Reading Fluency: Advanced to the 61st percentile across the country (gaining a strong +29 words/minute).
4th Grade Reading Fluency: Scaled all the way to the 73rd percentile nationwide (marking a massive +30 words/minute growth sprint).
5th Grade Vocabulary: Secured a strong foothold in the 63rd percentile nationally, maintaining a steady upward trajectory.
6th Grade Vocabulary: Consolidated their skills in the 63rd percentile across the country with excellent end-of-year gains.
This data proves our model is working, but true mastery requires an elite team. These outstanding results are a direct testament to the incredible talent, love, and tireless dedication of our instructional staff at White Stone Academy Dickson. Combined with the fantastic academic support, reading time, and reinforcement you provide at home, our parents and teachers have built a culture where students don't just get by—they thrive on a national stage. Thank you, Dickson families and staff, for raising the bar together!
