This is something I've been passionate about since my father started bringing animals inside to us when we were children. Science fields have always interested me since my father had so much influence in that respect with being a microbiologist working for NASA training astronauts for their missions. The knowledge he and his team passed down to me is something I wish to continue to share with the
community for as long as I can. Continuing to grow and learn is a huge part of teaching others and taking good care of the animals I love. Not only does our organization want to be a haven for animals that need a home, but an education facility where the public can join our classes before adopting these exotic creatures. I disagree with telling people they cannot have certain animals in their home. I believe as long as they are willing to be educated through our training seminars, they should be able to adopt a huge array of creatures. People are inspired and obsessed with the interactions they have with animals. There are so many ways having animals in your home can bring new life to you or your family. Animals also crave bonds and interactions with humans as well and as long as they are cared for properly, the relationships can be amazing! I wish to also provide exam rooms for any issues that may be ailing your pets. There are so many natural and easy ways to treat certain issues with animals. We understand when a vet is necessary, but our remedies have worked for over a decade in certain situations. Also, if proper husbandry is learned and maintained through our classes before adopting a pet, it can help avoid any issues that may require a vet visit. In my experience around 90% of the time, if proper setups and/or lights or supplements were used in the beginning, the animal never reaches a point that needs veterinary intervention. I have yet to deal with a facility that not only provides shelter for rescue animals, but then displays those animals to the public for education and allows people to adopt them into their homes after taking the proper educational classes. Providing a place for captive breeding of all types of species also provides education for the public and ensures the survival of these animals when our world is dealing with the devastating blows to the environment. I would openly demonstrate how we can help so many species by letting them procreate during their natural breeding times and seasons. Community and school functions and shows is a must with this organization! Our future is going to continue the research and education we have come to up until this point!
