Registration is now open for the 2026 Dakota Conference Women's Retreat!
Join women from across North and South Dakota September 18–20 for a weekend of worship, fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual renewal as we explore the theme Transformation: His Glory Reflected.
Held on the Dakota Adventist Academy campus near Bismarck, this year's retreat will feature inspiring messages from Elder Donna Brown, practical breakout sessions, special activities, and opportunities to connect with women from across the Dakotas. Whether you come with a friend, sister, daughter, mother, or another relative—or attend on your own—you'll find a warm welcome and a place to belong.

End of School Field Trip: Theodore Roosevelt National Park and Chateau de Mores. The weather was beautiful which was a BIG answer to prayer as the forecast looked pretty bleak. It was a lovely day all in all!

Students dressed in a career of their choice and we had a garbage truck driver as a guest. He made the job look surprisingly attractive!

Career Day Pt. 2–
1) We received a great tour by Dr. Tim Janke at West Dakota Veterinary Clinic; very interesting!!
2) We visited with singer Jennifer LaMountain who gave singing tips as well as advice about pursuing a singing career. Come to Dakota Campmeeting to meet her in person.
3) Danny Whatley, plumber and business owner from Palmer, AK shared how he partnered with God through faithful tithing and giving and honoring the Sabbath rest and operated a very successful plumbing business
4) Jamen Wolf, building contractor, talked about what it takes to be a self-employed construction worker
5) Drew Hickman, founder and owner of Holiday Technologies in Kansas City wowed the students with the technology he pioneered—he was the first to combine lighting movement with music
We so appreciated these professionals for the time they took to instruct and inspire the students.

It was a beautiful day for highway cleanup on the mile-long strip near our school. The kids were super workers and we got 4 large bags filled. Thanks to the truckers and other drivers who honked and waved!

We thoroughly enjoyed our chat via Zoom with YouTuber Pastor James Desvallons of Adventist Media Connect. He shared an excellent presentation giving advice to those interested in media ministry. We were blessed and inspired—and got a good laugh from the thumbnails he created of us 🤣
