Happy National Higher Education Day!
Higher education is about so much more than textbooks. It’s about hands-on discoveries in the lab, collaborative study sessions, meaningful mentorship, and the lifelong connections made both inside and outside the classroom.
Today, we celebrate our incredible Blue Hawk students who are investing in their futures and working hard toward their degrees every day. We also extend our gratitude to our dedicated faculty and staff who guide, inspire, and support our students every step of the way.

Texas did not disappoint for our Blue Hawks. The Dickinson State University Ag Club recently traveled to the Lone Star State to tour several premier agricultural operations and expand their industry knowledge through hands-on learning.
Here is a recap of their educational experience:
Brawley Farms Inc: Students kicked off the trip by exploring the competitive world of horse showing.
Agricen: The club gained insights into the future of agronomy, studying cutting-edge, plant-resistant technology currently being developed in the greenhouse.
Champion Genetics: A tour of these top-tier facilities gave students a firsthand look at modern reproductive technology and genetic testing.
6666 Ranch: The group visited the legendary Four Sixes Ranch to learn about its profound historic significance in the realm of Texas quarter horses and cattle.
Fort Worth Stockyards: To wrap up an incredible trip, the students visited the historic Fort Worth Stockyards for some shopping and to witness the iconic cattle drive.
Dickinson State University extends a sincere thank you to all of the operations that hosted our students and provided such invaluable industry insights.
