First Day of School is Thursday, August 20th, 2026.

With our RASP - Regional After School Program kicking off the 2026-2027 school year next week, we’re taking a look back at all the fun our RASP kids had this summer! ☀️

From water days and Big Sticks games to lemonade stands, zoo trips, talent shows, and simply hanging out in the sunshine, there was no shortage of summer fun!

A huge thank you to our amazing RASP staff for keeping the kids active, engaged, and smiling all summer long. 💙

Help us congratulate Mr. Aaron Anderson, Director of the Southwest Area Career & Technical Education Academy (SWCTE) Southwest Area CTE Academy, on being named the 2026 North Dakota Association for Career and Technical Education (NDACTE) Administrator of the Year.

Since joining SWCTE in 2021, Anderson has helped transform career and technical education opportunities for students across southwest North Dakota through innovative programming, strong industry partnerships, and a shared commitment to student success. This well-deserved recognition reflects Anderson's dedication to preparing students for college, careers, and the future.

Congratulations, Mr. Anderson! Thank you for your continued commitment to our students, our schools, and the communities we serve.

We are proud to recognize three staff members for receiving well deserved professional honors. Their commitment to their work and the contributions they make to our district are being recognized at the state level.

🏅 Dickinson High School Softball Coach Mickey was recognized as a National Coach of the Year Nominee by the North Dakota High School Coaches Association, an incredible honor that follows her recent milestone of 300 career wins.

🏅 Southwest Area CTE Academy Drafting & Construction instructors Mrs. Lehman and Mr. Schmidt were recognized as recipients of the North Dakota CTE Directors Association Award of Excellence in the Trade, Industry, and Technical Education category. This award reflects their dedication to providing students with meaningful, hands-on learning experiences and fostering strong industry partnerships.

📣 Infinite Campus Parent Portal invitations have been sent❗

Families should check their email for an invitation to activate their Infinite Campus Parent Portal account (check spam/junk folder if you do not see it).

Class schedules will be released on a rolling basis and will be available for all schools by August 14.

⚠️ Once you're logged in, complete your student's required Annual Update. This process takes about 15 minutes and ensures we have the most accurate contact information, emergency contacts, permissions, and health information before the school year begins. Every student must have an Annual Update completed before the first day of school.

🎉 Dickinson Public Schools is proud to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of our students who represented Dickinson High School and Southwest Area CTE Academy on the national stage!

At the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) National Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C., Ellianna Pierce earned 2nd place nationally in Toys That Teach, 3rd place nationally in the Teaching Young Children Challenge Test, and a Gold Medal in Teaching Strategies. Addison Dahmus earned a Gold Medal in Fashion Construction.

Dickinson Public Schools students also showcased their talents at the National SkillsUSA Championships in Atlanta, Georgia, earning national recognition in a variety of competitions:
