It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing the closure of New Horizons. Hurrican Harvey has made an already difficult financial situation all the more complicated. We are not seeing the growth we had anticipated at the beginnning of this venture, and without students our business is not viable, even with the generous outpouring of support from our families and community. Our hearts want to continue to provide the outstanding, educational experience for your children, but our minds and the numbers don't lie. We are no longer able to financially support the school.

We have given our students 110% and we have loved doing what we are passionate about, educating your children. We are grateful to each and every one of you, and wish you and your families many blessings in the future.

We are heartbroken! 😞 Starting the clean up process! We got about 2 feet of water! Pulling carpet and trying to salvage what we can.

We were able to get to the school today. It looks like at least 2 feet of water flooded the school. We are heartbroken. We pulled carpet and are working on salvaging what we can. We feel very grateful that our students are safe and dry and that our families and homes are as well.

We hope you and your families are safe and dry. It's been a crazy couple of days. Due to the massive rainfall in our area and the uncertainty of the weather the next few days, New Horizons will not start school until Tuesday, September 5th, along with surrounding school districts. We are unsure of how the school weathered the storm. We will continue to be in touch. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.

We have scheduled another social skills group and also a handwriting group! We would love for your child to join us!

Camp will be held:
Monday, August 14-Thursday, August 17

Social Skills Camp
9:00am-10:15 am
$125

Handwriting Intensive Camp
10:30am-11:45am
$175

If you sign up for both classes, a snack and drink will be provided in between classes.

The class sizes are small so space is limited.

Both camps will be run by a licensed therapist!

We are excited to announce that after a year long effort, New Horizons Early Education Foundation is now non profit 501(c)(3)!
We have begun applying for grants and seeking various sources in order to help provide resources to more children in need!

We would like to offer two families a half tuition scholarship for the 2017-2018 school year. We would like for you to nominate your own child or a family that you feel may benefit from this opportunity. Just send us an email or message with a little about your child and why you should be chosen for this scholarship. Your child’s school day includes occupational therapy, speech therapy and physical therapy once a week and also a weekly researched based music program. Our preschool program uses a developmental curriculum and individualized goals for each of our students.
