Back in December, we were handed a $200 donation and a simple suggestion over a bag of popcorn: “Host a car show!” We took that advice and ran with it as fast as we could.

With a group of determined moms, the incredible support of our alumni, and the amazing help from our community, we made today happen for our students!

A huge thank you to American Legion S. Mike Lacy Post 554 for opening their doors and being such an incredible host. They didn’t hesitate for a second! Special thanks to Luis, who helped guide us through the setup and kept things running smoothly on event day.

We had over 30 vehicles and 15 vendors from our community come out to support us. Not only did you help us raise over $2,000, but you also shared advice, encouragement, and excitement for what’s next.

And yes… there WILL be a 2nd Annual Car Show next school year! We’ve already gained amazing supporters who want to help with categories, judges, and awards, and we couldn’t be more excited. We want to get bigger and better!

To all of our vendors—thank you for sharing your talents with us today! We truly appreciate each of you and hope to have you back for Boo at the Barn in October and our Christmas Barn Festival in December.

This was more than a fundraiser—it was a reminder of how strong and supportive our community truly is. Thank you all for believing in our students!
