Fri-Yay Wins from our high schoolers!

When Mrs. Allen, in the GO Center, asked students to tell her what their WIN for the week was, here are some of the answers she received. In return, they received a free drink card from Sonic and HTeaO.

Happy FRIDAY, Lumberjacks!

Safety Update

At 12:21 pm today, a false fire alarm was triggered at HG Temple campus while the fire alarm system was being serviced. Students and staff followed all safety procedures and evacuated the building safely.

The situation was quickly identified and handled by Diboll ISD Police, campus administrators, and maintenance staff. Because there was no fire or other emergency, local law enforcement and the fire department were not needed.

We appreciate our students and staff for responding appropriately and following established safety procedures.

Planning for Progress πŸ“Š

Our leadership teams are digging into the latest student data and working together to finalize their 2026–2027 Campus Improvement Plans.

This work is about looking closely at where we are, identifying where we need to improve, and making sure our plans translate into meaningful action for students. Progress over perfection, one step, one student, and one day at a time.

Your teen may think, β€œEveryone is doing it.” The truth? Most teens are not.

πŸ’‘ When teens believe substance use is common, they may be more likely to experiment. And teens often overestimate how many of their peers use substances.

πŸ“£ Parents: share factual information, and help your teen gain a clearer understanding of what is actually normal among their peers. Knowing that MOST students choose NOT to use substances can strengthen your teen’s confidence to make healthy choices.

Talk with your teen about the real numbers and help build their confidence to make healthy decisions. Learn more at angelinacoalition.org/resources

The Drug-Free Council program is funded by a grant from TxDOT to reduce the number of alcohol-related crashes in Texas.
