DJHS Academic Spotlight

Ms. Hernandez, 8th grade reading language arts teacher, is in the academic spotlight this week! Her students were working hard using the RACE writing strategy and finding text evidence to support their thoughts. Awesome job by Ms. Hernandez and her students as they continue to make progress!

Academic Spotlight on Coach Jeffery today! His students were very engaged in learning about the coastal regions and various features of Texas in Texas History class. Students were enjoying the lesson, writing in their interactive notebooks, and participated in academic discussions as he gave feedback and recognition. Great job today students and Coach Jeffery!

Diboll Junior High School Continues to Make Improvements! 🚧

While the official A–F Accountability Ratings will not be released publicly until later this week, we are excited to celebrate the continued growth of Diboll Junior High!

Diboll Junior High earned a "B" rating, improving from a 77 to an 82!

This improvement reflects the hard work of our students, teachers, staff, and campus leadership who have remained committed to helping every student grow academically and personally.

This year's campus theme, "Under Construction: Making Improvements," couldn't be more fitting. Every day, our students and staff are laying the foundation, building new skills, and making progress one step at a time. These results are evidence that the work being done inside our classrooms is making a difference.

Congratulations to the entire Diboll Junior High family on this well-deserved accomplishment! We look forward to building on this success and continuing to make improvements together.
