East Texas Cello Studio I teach private cello students from beginner to advanced intermediate level. I'd love to teach you, too. All State Competition.

Students auditioning for Region Orchestra usually make their goals and if competing in Solo & Ensemble Contest, most of my students earn a 1. My name is Pam Martin and I've been teaching over the past 40 years. I also play in several symphonies, Longview, Marshall, Texarkana, & South Arkansas. I have also played in Shreveport Symphony, Orchestra of the Pines, North East Texas Symphony, East Texas

Opera, East Texas Symphony. I was a member of the Festival String Quartet for 24 years in Shreveport. And have been a member of and coordinate for Longview String Quartet for 45 years. I played violin until I went to high school, then switched to cello. I made the top orchestra my senior year with Tx Music Educator's Assoc. I play frequently in chamber groups or solo around the East Texas area. I have studied with Darlene Skipper, Dennis Bell, & Ruthie Drummond. I have a lot of experience and would love to teach you♫

Finished teaching lessons this evening and stepped outside to snap a pic of my studio door. And a couple of pics of me teaching during a lesson. I videoed some of this lesson for the student so they would have something to listen to and play with while at home. Love my students!

We have a wide range of musicians in our Community Symphony Orchestra!

Hosted by Kilgore College with two-hour rehearsals on Mondays (beginning at 6:30 p.m.) tuition is FREE for all participants.

The Community Symphony provides adults as well as college and advanced high school musicians the opportunity to study and perform intermediate to advanced level symphonic repertoir. Musicians in this orchestra study and perform a broad range of orchestral and symphonic literature ranging from Baroque to Contemporary and everything in between.

Reach out now to learn more about how you or your favorite family musician can participate. Our goal is to create great music in a fun and encouraging atmosphere with fellow musicians throughout the community.

I am so excited to share that my student Sienna competed in Solo and Ensemble contest this past weekend! And she made a "1"! That is the highest mark you can receive. She played a class 1 (most difficult) solo and nailed it! I am so proud her. She worked so hard. And she's a joy to work with ❤️. WTG Sienna!
