The West Coast Center for Advanced Dental Studies was established in 1998 by Jin Y. Kim, DDS, MPH, MS and his colleagues with an educational foresight to advance the field of periodontics and dental implantology, both locally and globally. As a practicing clinician, Dr. Kim feels strongly that the professional field, and untimately, the patients, will benefit through selfless sharing and perpetual
challenges to perfect the unique art, that we call dentistry. With this goal, the team at The West Coast Center tirelessly tries to research, share, and to deliver the most ideal interdisciplinary dental care to the patients and with professional colleagues. In 1998 the Institute was called the Orange County Dental Implant Institute, and based out of Garden Grove, California. In 2003, with operations branching out to Beverly Hills, the name was appropriately changed to the West Coast Dental Institute, and in 2010, changed to The West Coast Center. Dr. Kim is a practicing specialist periodontist serving Central Orange County, Northern Orange County and Diamond Bar, Chino area, California with a practice specializing in dental implants, missing tooth replacement, gum disease and periodontal therapy.
