Today, our school focused on serving others through acts of kindness and community service.

The students worked hard on projects designed to help others and make a positive impact in our community.

We made cards for area businesses and nursing homes, picked up trash, made dog toys for our local animal shelter, cleaned the buses, made stress balls for others, painted kindness rocks, left motivational messages with sidewalk chalk, went over to SW to read and play with 1st grade, and so much more.

Camp Central was a huge success! We took learning to a different level where every teacher signed up to teach an “outside of the box” class.

Many of these classes were life skills or how to classes.

Some examples were: babysitting, laundry, braiding, crime scene investigations, stem, art, weaving potholders, goal setting, budgeting, sportsmanship, bracelet making, weather, bird feeders, origami, and so much more!

Students were able to sign up for 4 different classes and loved every single one they attended.

We also celebrated our office helper graduating, Dawn Warren Retirement Day, and Teacher Appreciation Week.

Our 5th Grade Songmakers sang at Busch Stadium on Wednesday. They sounded amazing and had a great time. Thank you, Mrs....
