Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! As we prepare for the first day of school tomorrow, Wednesday, August 26, let’s work together to ensure our students, staff, and families have a safe and successful school year.
Here are a few important safety reminders as we head back to school:
🚍 Watch for school buses: Be alert for stopped school buses throughout the school district, especially while students are loading and unloading.
🚸 Slow down in school zones: Be aware of your surroundings and always obey posted speed limits.
🚶 Watch for pedestrians: Always yield to students and pedestrians while they are using crosswalks, crossing streets, and walking through school parking lots.
⏰ Be patient during drop-off and pick-up: Expect delays, especially during the first week of school, and allow yourself extra time to get where you need to be.
🤝 Be courteous: Please be patient and respectful toward our school staff, school bus drivers, students, families, and everyone on school campuses.
Let’s all do our part to help ensure our students arrive at school safely and make it home safely each day.
