Thank you Georgia CTI and Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency for an AMAZING opportunity to spend this week preparing our students for life after high school.
Thank you to Travis Walker (Georgia Power), Melissa Chamness (Georgia First Bank), and Javetta Horne (GVRA) for speaking to our students this week. Thank you to the wonderful crew at the Dublin Post Office for letting us “throw a little mail around”!!! Many thanks to the Laurens County courthouse, tag office, and registrars office for letting us learn about jury duty, taxes, and voting/voter registration. Thanks to Teneal Nobles and the Best Buy crew for our tour of their fascinating facility. We learned so much about our options after high school, skills we will need to enter the workforce, being responsible citizens and financially responsible adults
Our GROW students enjoyed casual dining, a hibachi show, and of course- no week would be complete without Chick-fil-A… needless to say, we did not go without!
