PLEASE READ!
With cases of kennel cough on the rise within our area we kindly ask you to not bring your dog to our facility if you have noticed coughing/hacking or if your pet has been knowingly been exposed to a dog that has had kennel cough within the past two weeks. This virus highly contagious to other dogs. Our local veterinarians think this is a new strain of kennel cough which is causing a large number of dogs to become ill. We require all dogs that enter our building to be current on the Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination but unfortunately the vaccine is not 100% effective due to the various strains of the virus (similar to the human Influenza vaccine). Please read the attached graphic for more information on kennel cough.
