Thank you to the Kiwanis of Bartlesville for having us at their meeting! It was wonderful meeting our K-Family, and we are truly honored to have been a part of something like this.

Hope to work on some projects soon! ✨️🔑

Today’s Kiwanis meeting was a great reminder of why we do what we do.

The Key Club officers from Dewey High School joined us at our meeting to share what they’ve been working on, how we can support them, and their interest in joining us in future Kiwanis projects. Key Club is a service leadership program sponsored by our local club to foster leadership and service in high school students.

I have to say, we were impressed! These students did an outstanding job presenting to our club. Their confidence, professionalism, and ability to speak in front of a group were impressive. But just as impressive was the enthusiasm and energy they brought with them.

Seeing young people step up, take leadership roles, and look for ways to serve their community is exactly what Kiwanis is all about.

We’re looking forward to working with them!

The Dewey Key Club does not have their chocolate yet for the World's Finest Chocolate Fundraiser. We are working diligently with the people of WFC to get it by next week, in which case the Fundraiser dates will be extended.

🍫 CHOCOLATE! 🍫

Everybody loves it. Everybody wants it.

And it is coming to a school near you! Specifically Dewey, and even more specifically the Dewey Key Club!

We are beginning our first EVER World's Finest Chocolate sale to raise funds for this upcoming year. Buying a bar directly goes towards:
-Funding club activities
-Paying unpaid member dues
-Hosting community activities

And so much more!

Consider buying a couple bars of chocolate (or a box, we don't judge 🤭) at $2 a bar from September 14th through the 25th. Message on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok, or email [email protected] to order some. Key club members will also have them, ready to go if you see them.

The Dewey Key Club is having their second meeting of the year in Mrs. Thoreson's room (room 103) from 3:30pm-4pm after school on August 19th. Remember to bring your membership form and dues if you'd like to join our amazing team! Forms are due by October 14th. ✨️

In the meantime, we want to hear your thoughts! What are some ways you'd like to see us contribute this year to our community? Tag any local non-profits, charities, or anywhere you think we can lend a hand.

KEY CLUB!

School starts on Wednesday, August 12th. The Dewey Key Club's meeting will be right after school in Mrs. Thoreson's room (room 103 in the highschool), where members will be there to talk about what key club is, why it's so great, and how future members could participate throughout the year. Sign up sheets will be available, as well as snacks.

Great turnout at today's car wash! We received a lot of donations and recommendations on where to volunteer next. Thank you to all who donated or spread the word. Your contributions are fueling future club related activities!
