Decades Day brought the fun, and that’s a wrap on our Homecoming Dress-Up Days! 🧡🖤

What a fun two days it has been at Dewar! From showing off our school spirit to testing our knowledge with Dragon Trivia, Name That Tune, and some old-school movie questions, our middle school and high school students have had a BLAST!

A HUGE thank you to our amazing donor who generously provided prizes for our students! Your kindness helped make these two days even more special!

Congratulations to our MOST SPIRITED students!

We still need football voices! Mrs. Leader will be here today and tomorrow until 7 if you would like to stop by and record!

CALLING ALL DEWAR DRAGON ALUMNI! WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Homecoming is next week, and Dragon Media is bringing back our Homecoming Hype Video! But this year, we have something a little different planned, and we need YOUR help to make it happen!

Last year, so many of you helped us by sending in old football footage and pictures from your days as a Dragon. We absolutely loved getting to look back at those memories, and we want MORE this year!

But this time, we don't just want your memories. WE WANT YOUR VOICE!

We're putting together a special video that connects generations of Dragons, from the ones who built the traditions to the ones carrying them on today.

HERE'S WHAT WE NEED:

Old Football Footage: Videos from past Dewar football games, no matter the year!

Old Pictures: Football players, cheerleaders, homecoming, Friday nights, team pictures, and memories made on that football field!

Former Dragon Football Players: We need alumni from ALL generations who would be willing to record a short voiceover for our video!

DON'T WORRY, WE'LL MAKE THE VOICEOVER EASY!

We will send you exactly what you need to say! You can come up to the school, and our Dragon Media students will help you record, OR we can walk you through recording it on your phone and sending it to us!

You don't have to be a great speaker or have fancy equipment. We just want the voices of the people who helped make Dewar football what it is today!

DEADLINE: TUESDAY, OCTOBER 13!

We know it's short notice, but we have a vision for this year's video, and we think it could be something really special!

We want our current players to see the generations who came before them, our younger Dragons to see what they're working toward, and our alumni to know that the traditions and memories they helped create are still alive today.

Whether you have old pictures, football footage, or are willing to lend us your voice, we would LOVE to hear from you!

Different years. Different players. Different generations. SAME DRAGON PRIDE.

ONCE A DRAGON, ALWAYS A DRAGON!
