The first day of the first week of K readiness camp! We read Pigeon Needs a Bath and the did a direct draw of pigeon, colored him and then used bath tissue rolls dipped in blue paint to make bubbles. We did an Alphabet scavenger hunt game where the kids went around with a clipboard with the alphabet on it and had to match the letters hidden all over the building, dragon alphabet game, animal rescue water sensory bins . A very fun first day of camp!!

New classes/camps@at the learning lodge through December. Baking/ Art for ages 5-7 and 7-10, TESD day off camps ages 3 and up 9/21 and 11/3, TESD day off ages 3 yo kindergarten only 11/23 and 11/24, and FUN Friday Night Out ages 7-10 pizza and crafting 9/25 and 10/23.

Afternoon enrichment programs for ages 3 to 6. Perfect for preschoolers or morning kindergarten kiddos. There are two separate classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We have a steam explorers class and a kindergarten bridge program from noon until 3 PM. Sign up for one session or all three! Link in bio to sign up. We require 5 kiddos to hold class.

Last day of baking/ science camp Thursday (8/13) the kids made homemade bread in bag, revived a plain piece of paper with just eyes on it and we’re instructed to draw whatever they wanted around those eyes. I loved what they came up with! They also did a magic milk experiment . Milk is placed in a shallow dish w food coloring and when you dip a q- tip in dish soap the colors separate and swirl!! Super fun 4 days!

Day 3 (8/12) of baking / science camp. I didn’t get many videos on this day! We finished up our salt dough donuts which took 2 days to dry and painted them and added “sprinkles” (colored rice and glitter), they made puffy paint banana split sundaes with yellow Andy Warhol bananas, they made strawberry pop tarts which were a hit! not pictured are egg shell geodes that didn’t quite turn out how we wanted them to but , hey! That’s what experiments are for!

Day 2 (8/11) of baking/ science camp- the kids made and baked cake donuts, made bouncy balls from borax and glue , colored in cute masks, made ripped paper popsicles and played w the water tables.

Day 1 (8/10) of baking/ science camp we made apple sauce muffins , used Pipettes to squeeze colored vinegar into baking soda and ofc did a direct draw of a sun /ocean/ palm tree. Used white and black crayons then painted with water color and the result was adorable painting!!!
