Today we’re extra thankful for our Ramsey County 4-H leaders!

Our leaders give countless hours throughout the year to their clubs and our 4-H members. They plan meetings and activities, help with projects, encourage our kids and are always willing to lend a hand when we need one.

We truly couldn’t do what we do without them.

To all of our 4-H leaders, THANK YOU for everything you do and for continuing to show up for our 4-H youth! We appreciate you more than you know. 💚🍀

🍀 NATIONAL 4-H WEEK CLUB SPOTLIGHT: RAMSEY COUNTY 4-H SHOOTING SPORTS 🍀

Last, but certainly not least, we’re shining the spotlight on Ramsey County 4-H Shooting Sports! 🎯

Our Shooting Sports program gives 4-H members opportunities to learn new skills, practice responsibility and safety, set goals and challenge themselves in a supportive environment.

This program takes A LOT of helping hands to make it happen! We are incredibly thankful for the many volunteer coaches who give their time, knowledge and patience to work with our 4-H members. From practices and competitions to everything that happens behind the scenes, our program simply wouldn’t be possible without them.

Thank you to all of our Ramsey County 4-H Shooting Sports coaches for everything you do for our youth!

🍀 NATIONAL 4-H WEEK CLUB SPOTLIGHT: ROYAL ROWDIES 🍀

Today we’re celebrating the Royal Rowdies 4-H Club!

Being part of a 4-H club gives youth a chance to learn by doing, take on new challenges, build friendships, serve their community and have some fun along the way!

The Royal Rowdies have also been recognized as a Healthy 4-H Club several times! Their club has made health and wellness an important part of their 4-H experience, encouraging members to make healthy choices while learning and having fun together.

A special thank you to Sara, Leanne and Cindy for volunteering their time to lead the Royal Rowdies and help make these opportunities possible for their members.

Today’s club spotlight goes to the Ramsey Riders 4-H Club! 🐴

The Ramsey Riders bring together 4-H members with an interest in horses and give youth opportunities to learn, grow and share that interest with others. Along the way, members build skills, responsibility, confidence and friendships through 4-H.

A big thank you to Alvina, Beth, Bethany, Sharlene, Jessica and Sherry for volunteering their time to lead and support the Ramsey Riders and help make these opportunities possible for our youth!

4-H clubs are a place where youth can try new things, learn new skills, make friends and find ways to give back to their community. Every experience, big or small, is part of what makes being a 4-H member so special.

4-H is all about learning by doing, trying new things and growing along the way. Our local clubs give members a place to learn, make friends, get involved and create some pretty great memories.

🍀 NATIONAL 4-H WEEK CLUB SPOTLIGHT: COUNTRY KIDS 🍀

Today we’re celebrating the Country Kids 4-H Club!

There’s a lot that happens through a 4-H club throughout the year. Members have opportunities to learn, serve, lead, spend time together and just have fun being part of 4-H.

The Country Kids have also been recognized as a Healthy 4-H Club for several years! This recognition celebrates their commitment to making healthy choices and incorporating health and wellness into their club throughout the year. Way to go, Country Kids!

A big thank you to Stephanie, Sarah, Amber and Megan for volunteering their time as club leaders and helping make these experiences possible for their members.
