What an incredible FIRST YEAR for the BHS JROTC Flying Panthers Drone Team! 💙💛🐾🚁
This season, our cadets proved that hard work, teamwork, and determination can accomplish amazing things. In just our FIRST year competing, the Flying Panthers finished the season ranked:
🌎 88th out of 1,765 teams WORLDWIDE!
This weekend, our team competed at the JROTC All-Service National Drone Championship in Columbus, Georgia, against 78 of the top teams in the nation and represented Buckeye High School with pride and excellence.
🏆 Finished 9th in our division
🏆 Advanced to the Quarterfinals
🏆 Finished 16th in Skills out of 78 teams
Throughout the year, the Flying Panthers competed in:
✅ 3 Local Competitions
✅ 1 State Competition
✅ 1 National Championship
And brought home numerous awards, including:

🏅 Coding Award

This team has built something special in a very short amount of time. They demonstrated leadership, resilience, sportsmanship, technical skill, and professionalism every step of the way. From local events to the national stage, these cadets represented the Panther Battalion, Buckeye High School, and our community with excellence.
A huge thank you to our parents, supporters, school administration, and everyone who helped make this season possible. This is only the beginning for the Flying Panthers — and the future is incredibly bright!
