He grew up in a struggling single parent household surrounded by violence and crime and eventually co-founded the notorious street gang “Zone 8”, which led to his incarceration at the age of nineteen

OUR PEOPLE NEED A GENERAL STRIKE!

Detroit is no stranger to capitalist crises and abuse. Trump and his racist deportation machine is attacking our neighbors, with 7 Mile and Telegraph being one of the latest sites of ICE terror, kidnapping Black immigrants in broad daylight. Meanwhile corporations like DTE kick us out of our homes and make our utilities unaffordable. Enough is enough, we have to shut the system down.

We can’t afford to give up our power, give up our lives, and wait for the midterms we need ICE OUT NOW! Minnesota has made the call, will you answer?

Somali and Black student organizations in Minneapolis are calling for a general strike in Minnesota and nationwide, after the execution-style murder of Alex Pretti. They’re asking all pro-immigrant forces around the country to share this graphic and support the call. We all saw the historic action on Friday in Minneapolis, and we haven’t seen anything like this in decades.
