Here is a list of companies and organizations that rolled back, changed, or eliminated their Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) programs or policies:

1. Victoria’s Secret – Reevaluating supplier diversity goal and halting the goal to promote a certain percentage of Black workers.
2. State Street – Dropped diversity board expectations (30% female and racial minority director requirements).
3. Warner Bros. Discovery – Renamed DEI programs to “inclusion,” stopped external diversity surveys, and changed development program application processes.
4. Goldman Sachs – Dropped diversity requirement for companies it takes public and eliminated “diversity and inclusion” section from its annual filing.
5. Paramount – Stopped using diversity targets in hiring and removed DEI language from its website.
6. Bank of America – Ended “aspirational” diversity targets, replacing “diversity” with “talent” and “opportunity” in reports.
7. BlackRock – Cut references to DEI in its latest annual report.
8. Citigroup – Renamed its DEI and Talent Management team, ending diversity hiring goals.
9. Pepsi – Ended representation goals in hiring and transitioned DEI officer role to focus on employee development, shifting supplier diversity to small businesses.
10. JPMorgan Chase – Removed or watered down DEI language.
11. Coca-Cola & PepsiCo – Preparing to comply with Trump’s executive order banning DEI programs (especially due to government contracts).
12. Goldman Sachs – Dropped requirement for two diverse board members for public companies.
13. Disney – Shifted DEI performance metric to “Talent Strategy” and removed references to diversity in content warnings.
14. Deloitte – Rolled back DEI goals, removed pronouns from email signatures, and ceased issuing diversity reports.
15. PBS – Closed its DEI office to comply with Trump’s anti-DEI executive orders.
16. Google – No longer has diversity hiring targets and is evaluating whether to continue other DEI programs.
17. Accenture – Stopped using diversity targets in hiring and promotion, citing the Trump administration’s push to roll back DEI goals.
18. Amazon – Rolled back DEI language from its annual report.
19. Amtrak – Rolled back DEI programs and policies, including hiring and promoting diverse employees.
20. Meta – Ended several programs intended to increase diverse hiring and equity training.
21. McDonald’s – Abandoned specific diversity targets, renamed its diversity team to “Global Inclusion Team,” and stopped participating in external surveys.
22. Walmart – Wound down its Center for Racial Equity and stopped participating in HRC surveys, among other DEI commitments.
23. Boeing – Dismantled its global DEI department and redirected staff to focus on talent acquisition and employee experience.
24. Molson Coors – Stopped participating in external diversity surveys, abandoned supplier diversity quotas, and shifted DEI training to focus on business objectives.
25. Lowe’s – Combined employee resource groups under one umbrella, ceased participating in HRC surveys, and stopped external Pride events.
26. Ford Motor Co. – Stopped participating in external diversity surveys and shifted employee resource groups to focus on networking and mentorship.
27. Brown-Forman (Jack Daniel’s) – Removed workforce and supplier diversity goals, ceased participating in HRC index, and stopped tying executive compensation to DEI progress.
28. Harley-Davidson – Abandoned its DEI function and no longer participates in HRC surveys or partners with sponsors that do not focus on the “loyal riding community.”
29. John Deere – Stopped supporting cultural awareness events like Pride parades and removed socially-motivated messages from company documents.
30. Target-
• Rolled Back: Racial hiring targets, Racial Equity Action and Change program, and participation in external diversity surveys.
