When we say under-rated, under- ranked and under-represented, we mean that the students and schools we target to help are under appreciated. They are not just numbers on a page. They are talented students and reputable institutions that just need more opportunities to shine. Our goal is to help them take that stigma and use our platform to show everyone what they are made of.

UR Prospects was created with the purpose of giving student athletes broader opportunities to display their talents to colleges and universities that they may not have had opportunities to otherwise. We also want to give colleges and universities the opportunity to recruit students athletes that otherwise may not have known about their school. This app will bridge the gap for those who have the skills to play on the college level and only need is the opportunity to be seen. Many people have asked what UR stands for in our name and here is a little background and explanation.

While creating the concept of the company, I saw how many student athletes were missing out on being recruited due to Covid-19. With the inability to compete, many student athletes, did not have the ability to show their skills to college recruiters, especially those who were not classified as 4/5 star athletes.

Player Rankings are subjective number based on someone else determination of players skills and value. The rankings do not take into account the player’s heart, drive, work ethic or their future development as athletes. On the flip side, School Rankings are also subjective and based on factors that doesn’t truly measure the value of the school or its impact on the students that attend.

UR stand for under-rated, under-ranked and under-represented! Not only do we have the opportunity to change the face of college recruitment process by giving more opportunities to underrepresented students & universities, but we get to do it as a stellar team of friends that met in college!

All of us are graduates of ! We met individually in college and cultivated those individual relationships over the years. So when the idea of UR Prospects was created, all of us knew the value of having access to the benefits and networks of going to college.

The concept of was birthed when I saw how many talented student athletes lost opportunities to be recruited by college teams because of the pandemic. They had the skills but not the name recognition or the following from recruiters to be recruited without playing in 2020. I wanted to create a way for student athletes to connect directly with recruiters, nationwide, giving them more opportunities to show they have what it takes to compete on the next level. I also wanted more unknown schools with smaller budgets to have access to a wider range of student athletes!
