As a part of our boys mentorship program, SDM2 is hosting Books & Ballin 📚🏀, an opportunity for Middle and High School level students to connect and learn from collegiate and professional athletes about navigating athletics, education, and careers. Not a baller? No problem! There’s something to learn for everyone.

We kicked off the year with a community survey about our Food Fair. This comment made us so happy and proud. Grateful.

This organization has literally been my lifeline for being able to eat amazing choices, unique options, and allowing those they serve to have dignity by making us feel like we were actually shopping and cared for. I enjoy that the selections, along with the whole process executed in a way that you know time, attention, and care have been involved. They don’t just give you a bag of beans, rice, or a box of mac & cheese, even though those are blessings too, but SDM goes over and beyond, even providing other essentials for us. We work really hard, not just to ensure that we are able to provide an abundance of high-quality foods, but that we offer an experience that is humanizing, joyful, and communal. We’re glad we are able to translate that vision to the community. 

Tomorrow is the last Food Fair of 2025 and we have SO MUCH in store for you all!!! Come out, shop, eat, and celebrate the holidays with us as we end the year strong. Be sure to wear your favorite holiday sweater as it will be a festive celebration that you won’t want to miss 🎄⛄️🎁
