Finley is celebrating ONE YEAR at Laker Prep! Finley has worked in all of our classrooms as a sub, and we are so thankful for all the times she has stepped in to help cover shifts! She has now found her place in the Yellow Room, and we are so happy to have her as a consistent, safe, and caring person for these kids. Finley is currently going to school for Early Childhood Education, and we are grateful she chose Laker Prep to gain experience as she works toward this exciting accomplishment! We have loved watching her grow in confidence in the classroom, and it’s clear that the kiddos love having her around too! We are so happy to have you as part of the Laker Prep family, Finley! Keep up the great work!
Audrey is celebrating FOUR YEARS at Laker Prep! Audrey has spent all four years in the Toddler Room and has been the lead teacher for almost two years! She is always willing to jump in and help, whether it’s with the kiddos or her coworkers. She is someone we can count on, and we truly appreciate how willing she is to step up and help make things a little easier for everyone around her. It has been so fun to watch Audrey grow in her confidence and leadership over the years. She has become such an important part of our Laker Prep family, and we are so thankful for everything she does!
Mary has been with Laker Prep for 15 YEARS! She started Laker Prep back in 2011, and it is crazy to think about how much it has grown and changed since then! For the past 15 years, Mary has been 100% devoted to our families, children, and staff. She has poured so much time, energy, and love into making Laker Prep the place it is today. Her dedication to this program and the people in it is something that is truly special. Mary has been here through so many changes, celebrations, challenges, and milestones, and her commitment has never wavered. We are incredibly grateful for the knowledge, experience, and heart she brings to Laker Prep every single day. 15 years is an incredible accomplishment, and we are so lucky to have had you along for the journey, Mary! Here’s to all the memories made and many more to come!
Sara is completing one year a staff member at Laker Prep-particularly in the PreK building in the afternoon! We are grateful that Sara brings experience from her full time work, as a mental health specialist, as a mom (a Laker Prep alummi :)) and her natural demeanor. Sara truly connects with each child on a personal level, notices their strengths and needs, and makes them feel valued. It is a joy to hear all the children shout, "It's Sara!" when she comes in for her shift. Thank you, Sara, for carving out a portion of your busy days to spend with the children and families at Laker Prep!

Makayla is celebrating ONE YEAR at Laker Prep! Makayla has been a consistent and valued part of our Yellow Room classroom, where she continues to excel in everything she does each day! She is a great problem solver and is always willing to jump in and help, whether it’s supporting the children in her classroom or lending a hand to teachers throughout our program. We are so thankful for the consistency, patience, and positive attitude Makayla brings to Laker Prep each day. She is an important part of our team, and we appreciate everything she does for our kiddos and staff!
Lara is celebrating ONE YEAR at Laker Prep! Lara works in our Toddler Room in the afternoons, and we are so lucky to have her on our team! She has such a calm and patient demeanor, and it takes a lot to shake her, which is definitely a great skill to have when working with toddlers! Lara brings a steady and positive presence to the classroom and is always there to help support the teachers and kiddos. We appreciate the patience, kindness, and care she brings with her each day. We’re grateful to have someone as caring and steady as Lara on our team!
