GM Lucas and the Korea team brought back patches for our student's uniforms from the World Taekwondo Changmookwan our root system. Please sew them or have them sewn on to the left chest about two fingers away from the collar.

Patches will be handed out this week during class.

The Detroit Lakes School Of Tae Kwon Do & Kumdo was invited as part of the United States ChangMooKwan Taekwondo Union team to represent the USA at the World Taekwondo Changmookwan 80th Anniversary & World Championships.

We had a great time learning at seminars with some of the best in the world. Learning more about their culture on tours and eating a fun variety of Korean food. We also were able to visit the Headquarters of our Kwan(style) and experience the history and roots of Taekwondo.

Members of our team also represented the U.S. in the ChangMooKwan World Taekwondo Championships! The 8 competitors from DLTKD, brought home 23 medals in Individual, Pairs, and Team Poomsae. So needless to say we are proud of their performance.
