Congratulations to our seven newly certified members of DMSP. After several months of online study and skills and scenarios sessions in Outdoor Emergency Care with our instructors, all seven tested yesterday and passed the tests resulting in OEC certification. They completed over 100 hours of instruction, all on a volunteer basis. Welcome to the National Ski Patrol and the Detroit Mountain chapter. Also, a big thank you to the members who assisted with teaching, mentoring and testing yesterday.

Thank you UND School of Medicine. We have greatly enjoyed our collaboration with the Emergency Medicine Interest Groups and the Wilderness Medicine elective. Looking forward to many more chances to work with the med students.

Detroit Mountain Ski Patrol was named the Western Region Outstanding Large Alpine Patrol for 2025-26. Thanks to our dedicated volunteer patrollers for everything they do.
