PLAYING, LEARNING & GROWING TOGETHER! 🎨📚

Our little Pandas are busy enjoying Center Time—where play has a purpose and learning comes to life! 💛

Whether they’re building, creating, pretending, exploring, talking with friends, or solving problems, our Pandas are strengthening important skills through hands-on experiences. Every center gives our children an opportunity to make choices, use their imagination, practice independence, communicate, and learn together.

🐼 In our Panda Community, we PLAY together, LEARN together, and GROW together! 🌟

Our little Pandas had an extra-special lunchtime visitor! Officer Banegas pulled up a seat and enjoyed lunch, smiles, and conversation with our students. 👮‍♂️🍎🥛

Moments like these help our children see that our community helpers are more than uniforms—they are friendly faces, caring neighbors, and important members of our Panda community.

👮🏽‍♀️👩🏽‍⚕️👨🏽‍🚒🧑🏽‍🏫 LOOK WHO’S HELPING OUR COMMUNITY! 🐼💙

Our Pre-Pandas in Ms. Amy’s class had so much fun dressing up as community helpers! From doctors and firefighters to police officers, teachers, and other important helpers, our little pandas were excited to explore the many people who work every day to keep our communities safe, healthy, happy, and strong! 🏥🚒🏫

Learning through dramatic play gives our children the opportunity to use their imaginations, build vocabulary, practice social skills, and learn about the world around them—all while having FUN! 🌟

Who knows? We may be looking at some of our future community leaders and helpers!

Great job, Ms. Amy and our Pandas! 💛

Our little pandas are ready for a well-deserved Fall Break! 🍁🧡
📚 There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday & Tuesday, October 12 & 13, 2026.

🏫 School resumes Wednesday, October 14, 2026.

Families, please be sure to make any necessary childcare arrangements and enjoy this time to rest, recharge, and make some sweet fall memories together! 🍂🎃🐼

KINDNESS IN ACTION! 💛🐼

At recess, something special happened on our playground. Two of our little pandas noticed a friend from another class having a hard time riding his bike.

Without being asked, they stopped what they were doing, walked over, and began pushing their friend around the track so he could enjoy the ride too.

And the sweetest part?
They didn’t even know each other’s names.
They didn’t need an introduction. They didn’t need an adult to tell them what to do. They simply saw another little panda who needed some help—and they stepped in.

This is what we want learning to look like beyond the classroom: kindness, empathy, friendship, inclusion, and helping others simply because you can.

Sometimes the biggest lessons happen when no one is teaching—and sometimes the smallest hands show us the biggest hearts. 🐼💕

Kindness doesn’t need to know your name to know you need a friend.

🎀🐼 PANDAS IN PINK! 🐼🎀

Our Panda Staff understood the assignment! 💕 We showed up in our Pink Panda shirts, united and ready to Paint the Parish PINK in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 🎗️💗

Today was more than wearing pink—it was about standing together to honor the fighters, celebrate the survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and spread awareness and hope throughout our Early Learning Centers.

Because when the Panda Family shows up, we show up with LOVE, SUPPORT & PURPOSE! 🐼💪🏽🩷

PAWS, PETS & PLENTY OF LEARNING! 🐱🐶🐾

What a fun-filled week in Mrs. Pierre and Ms. Jaide’s class! Our Little Pandas took learning to a whole new level during Pet Week!

📚 After reading Not Norman: A Goldfish Story, the children used their creativity to make their very own Norman to take home!

🏪 Then, the classroom transformed into a PET SHOP! Students took turns working in the pet store and becoming customers as they shopped for the perfect pet to “adopt.” Through dramatic play, our Little Pandas practiced communication, turn-taking, decision-making, social skills, and imaginative play—all while having a BLAST!

🏆 And what would Pet Week be without a “Blue Ribbon Pet Show & Tell?” Students had the opportunity to share and talk about their personal pets from home, building confidence and strengthening those important language skills.

From literacy and creativity to dramatic play and communication, learning was happening everywhere! 🌟

The smiles said it all—our Little Pandas had a PAW-some week!

EVERY VOICE MATTERS! 🐼🗣️💙

October is AAC Awareness Month, and we’re celebrating the power of communication by giving a BIG Panda shout-out to our amazing Speech Therapist! 🎉

She works alongside our Little Pandas to help them find their voices through AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). AAC reminds us that communication doesn’t have to look or sound just one way—every child deserves a way to be heard! 💙

Throughout the school day, our students use AAC devices during classroom activities to express their wants, needs, ideas, choices, and feelings while connecting their communication skills to the exciting themes and lessons they are learning each week.

We love watching our Little Pandas discover:

🐼 My voice matters.
💬 I have something to say.
💙 There are many ways for me to communicate.
🌟 I can connect, participate, learn, and be heard!

Every word, gesture, picture, button, and interaction is another step toward confidence, independence, and meaningful connections.

Different ways to communicate. One powerful message: EVERY VOICE MATTERS!🗣️💙
