Destin Water Users currently has a position open as an Electrical Technician in our Facilities/Electrical Dept. Under direct supervision and is responsible for operating and maintaining electrical equipment and components related to construction and maintenance projects and activities relating to water, wastewater and building facilities owned by Destin Water Users, Inc. in accordance with federal, state, and local policies and procedures.

Ability to perform maintenance on low voltage electrical equipment (5-50vdc; 12-480VAC) unsupervised. Ability to read electrical plans/diagrams and learn company software programs for work orders and preventative maintenance.

Candidates should have a valid Journeyman Electrician license (or higher) or a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the field of industrial electrical construction and maintenance,

Performs on call duty as assigned after all training is complete. EOE.
