We wanted to congratulate the three Paramedic students to receive a scholarship this year.
Monica Broombaugh, Darian Lehmann and Autumn Watson.
All 3 come highly recommended and we are excited to be a part of their journey to serve their community as a Paramedic.

Also, thank you to everyone who has made this scholarship program possible.
This makes 8 scholarships!

Frank loved having students ride along and share the knowledge he gained from others and his own experiences in the field with them.

It is EMS week! We want to thank every one of our EMS personnel near and far. We truly appreciate your dedication, service and long hours you put in to help those in need, often on the worst day of their lives. You make a difference!!!

We are very pleased to announce that we have selected three paramedic scholarship recipients this year! This will be a total of five since 2017.

Austin Tate “not pictured “ became an EMT May 2017 and his currently a Firefighter EMT. He works full-time at the Dunklin Fire Protection District and part-time at Festus Fire Department and Joachim Plattin Ambulance District.

Emily Thompson has been an EMT since July 2021 and works at Joachim Plattin Ambulance District.
She has set several goals for herself. Paramedic , a Flight Medic and eventually becoming a Registered Nurse where she would like to help children or work in the ER.

Lillian Smith has been an EMT for three years. Currently she works for Valle Ambulance District and Joachim Plattin Ambulance District. Her classes begin in January 2024.

We wish you all the very best and look forward to seeing you succeed in your careers as a Paramedic.

Thankful for all of those who gave their lives.
My dad never had the chance to serve our country, but he NEVER walked past a service member or veteran without extending his hand and saying thank you. He taught his children and grandchildren to do the same.
So, to all of our friends of this page who know and love someone who didn’t make it home, we are sorry for your loss. 🇺🇸❤️💙🤍

Everyone stay safe out there the next few days. If you have to be out, please take it slow and allow room for your first responders and MODOT to work.
