We Hear You: Transportation Matters
At ILTexas, we understand that safe, reliable transportation is important to our students and families. That is why we provide targeted transportation services designed to support student access to our campuses.
We have heard your feedback and are actively evaluating opportunities to expand and enhance transportation options in select areas. As we assess future transportation needs, we encourage families to communicate directly with their campus regarding transportation interests and challenges. Your feedback helps us better understand community needs and informs future transportation planning.
While no decisions have been finalized, our team is carefully reviewing enrollment patterns, family input, and operational considerations to determine where additional support may have the greatest impact.
If transportation is an important factor in your family's enrollment decision, please contact your campus directly or email [email protected] to learn more about current transportation options and how potential future enhancements could impact your student's ability to attend ILTexas.

Thank you to all of the LDHS students and families who attended the info session and tour of ILTexas Arlington-Grand Prairie High School yesterday! ✨
✅ Update: Our Superintendent, Eddie Conger, is a man of his word. As soon as the consolidation was announced, he agreed to purchase top-of-the-line motor coach buses for students to travel from the LDHS campus to AGPHS. He signed the contract for them yesterday.
We can't wait for our LDHS students to experience everything their new campus has to offer, the future is bright! 🔆

ILTexas to Consolidate Students of Lancaster–DeSoto High School into Arlington-Grand Prairie Campus
International Leadership of Texas (ILTexas) announced Friday it will consolidate its Lancaster-DeSoto High School (LDHS) students into ILTexas Arlington-Grand Prairie High School (AGPHS), effective July 2026.
“This was not an easy decision,” said Superintendent Eddie Conger. “I have not been able to gain approval from the City of Dallas to build our high school as planned. We have been in a temporary building for too many years. This decision to consolidate our students into our new building at AGPHS will allow all of our students to participate in the new science labs, new gymnasium, new athletic fields, and the Marine Corps JROTC program.”
What this means for students and families: All Lancaster–DeSoto High School students will seamlessly transition to ILTexas Arlington–Grand Prairie High School beginning July 1, 2026. ILTexas will provide private charter bus transportation from Lancaster K8 and the current LDHS location for all students. Within the next three weeks, we will have an orientation day in which we will have the charter buses take the students and families to AGPHS where they can see the new campus and be welcomed by students and staff.
Support for staff: ILTexas is committed to supporting all impacted employees during this transition. Every effort will be made to extend opportunities at other ILTexas campuses based on interest and available positions.
Ongoing communication and support: We are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible. Families and staff will receive ongoing updates and guidance in the coming weeks, and campus leadership will be available to answer questions and provide support every step of the way.

Others Before Self and Servant Leadership
Folks, there are so many supporting values that are foundational to the ideas that went into the creation of International Leadership Of Texas and into our leadership traits of servant leadership, and the concept of “others before self”. For me personally, recalling part of a letter in a very old book of 2000 years ago that specifically talks about, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.” Also reflecting on Memorial Day and what it means and especially what it means to those of us who have led others into combat I came across this reflection from a fellow combat Marine veteran and he says in words how most of us veterans feel and frankly struggle with the Memorial Day weekend. Please take a look at this article, and please reflect on how each of us could find more ways to be examples of servant leadership and in putting others before self. With the greatest of respect for each of you. - Eddie Conger
