The holiday season is over and we have now entered into the first su***de SPIKE season. Fewer su***des happen over the holidays, but they receive detailed attention.

There is a substantial increase in su***des from the end of January through the end of April. This is what some survivors refer to as, The Spring Killing Season."

Parents, if you have children who seem depressed or withdrawn, do not assume they will not harm themselves. Get involved in their lives!

Neighbors, if you have friends or associates who are depressed or dealing with challenging issues, be a friend and check on them.
