Kid Conscience & Beyond, LLC (KC&B) is a youth and organizational-development company committed to Cultivating Mindful Humans. KC&B supports schools, youth programs, leaders, and communities by strengthening the people and systems responsible for serving children and families.

Through its framework, the organization helps leaders build aligned teams, stronger processes, and sustainable practices that support long-term impact.

Its UPS Check Retreat for Educators extends that mission by creating an intimate space where school and youth-program leaders can step away from daily demands, connect with peers, and begin addressing real challenges such as staffing, compliance, safety, enrollment, parent trust, budgets, program quality, and student outcomes.

The retreat combines restoration with strategic problem-solving, allowing participants to bring a real challenge into the room and leave with greater clarity, meaningful connections, and practical next steps.

🕊️ Remembering 9/11

Today, the women of Epsilon Tau Chapter pause for a moment of silence to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, honor the heroes who answered the call to serve, and hold close the families forever changed by that day.

May we never forget the courage, sacrifice, unity, and humanity that brought our nation together. 🇺🇸

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🕊️

🚨 SORORS, COVID IS STILL HERE. PROTECT YOURSELF. 🚨

Sorors we’ve been here before, so we already know what time it is. COVID-19 and other respiratory viruses are still circulating, and as we move into the fall season, this is not the time to get comfortable or careless.

Pay attention to your body. Know the symptoms. If you’re sick, stay home. If you test positive, take the necessary precautions and let the people you’ve been around know they may have been exposed.

And hear us clearly: there is absolutely nothing wrong with putting that mask back on. 👏🏾 If you’re in a crowded space and masking makes sense for you, WEAR IT. Wash your hands. Stay informed about vaccinations. Look out for our seasoned Sorors, our families, and those whose health may already be compromised.

We have too much work to do and too many people depending on us to take our health lightly.

💚 Protect yourself. Protect your Sorors. Protect your community.

Because being proactive isn’t being scared it’s being responsible.

Today, we celebrate YOU...the women who understand that service doesn’t end when the meeting adjourns. To every Soror who gives her time, talents, ideas, leadership, energy, and heart to Iota Phi Lambda, thank you for your commitment to doing the work and making an impact.

We also recognize the incredible work you do beyond our Sorority. You are educators, executives, entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals, public servants, caregivers, community leaders, and so much more. You are building careers, businesses, families, and communities often while still finding time to serve others. 💚

And to our retired Sorors, we honor you! 👑 Your years of dedication, sacrifice, and hard work helped pave the way for the women coming behind you. Retirement may have changed your work schedule, but it certainly did not retire your wisdom, influence, or impact! 🤍

❤️ September is Sickle Cell Awareness Month ❤️

This month, the women of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. – Epsilon Tau Chapter stand together to raise awareness, share knowledge, and show love to everyone impacted by sickle cell disease.

Understanding sickle cell matters. Education helps replace misconceptions with compassion, encourages testing and early detection, and reminds us that behind every diagnosis is a person, a family, and a story.

❤️ To every Sickle Cell Warrior fighting through pain, hospital stays, treatments, fatigue, and days others may never fully understand, we see your strength, we honor your journey, and we stand with you.

🤍 And to the caregivers, the parents, spouses, family members, friends, medical professionals, and advocates who show up during the difficult days, we see you, too. Your love, patience, sacrifice, and support matter more than words can express.

This September, we challenge our community to learn more, care more, advocate more, and love a little louder.

To every warrior and every caregiver: you are not fighting alone. ❤️
