Today we held our 1st PBIS reward of the year. Over 400 students who had 90% or better attendance, no office referrals, and no bus referrals earned time out of class to play board games, puzzles, yard games, and a popcorn bar treat! We had a few more students that made the PE impossible shot. At the end of each class, the coaches pick a couple of students to try the impossible shot. The students are picked based on their effort, participation, positive attitude, and their encouragement to others.
Way to go Summer, Camden, and Eli!

Yesterday students in Mrs. Fluck's class were crowned Summarizing Kings and Queens. Students used the summarizing hand to identify the key parts (somebody, wanted, but, so, then) from the story Finding Winnie. Before being crowned they had to retell their summary in a short paragraph.
