New Visitor Management System

The safety of our students and staff remains our highest priority. Beginning with the 2026–2027 school year, all district buildings will use a visitor management system to help create a safer, more secure environment.

When visiting a school or picking up a student, please:
Bring a valid, government-issued photo ID
Report to the main office upon arrival
Wear your visitor badge while on campus
Check out before leaving

Only individuals authorized by the school may check out a student, and additional verification may be required. Please ensure all approved contacts and contact information are current in your Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

Thank you for partnering with us to keep our schools safe! If you have questions, please contact your student’s building office directly.

Free & Reduced Meal Applications Are Now Open!

The 2026–2027 Free & Reduced Meal Application is now available through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

We encourage all families to apply, even if you're not sure you'll qualify. You may be eligible for benefits, and the only way to know is to submit an application.

If your household has already been approved through Direct Certification, no application is needed.

If you have not been directly certified, we encourage you to complete your application as soon as possible to help ensure your meal benefits are in place for the start of the new school year.

Early Dismissal – Monday, April 27

Due to severe storms expected tomorrow afternoon, including the potential for large hail and dangerous winds that could create hazardous driving conditions, De Soto #73 will dismiss early to ensure the safety of our students and staff.

Dismissal Times:
Early Childhood Center, Middle School, High School, & Dragon Annex: 11:00 AM
Athena Elementary & Vineland Elementary: 12:00 PM

All afternoon activities and athletics are canceled.

Please plan accordingly and make any necessary arrangements. Thank you for your understanding as we prioritize the safety of our school community.

There are approximately 15 tickets left for tomorrow's game. Stop by the office if you'd like to purchase tickets for tomorrow's game.

The Vineland Dragonettes are selling tickets to the St. Louis Cardinals game on Friday, April 24th when they take on the Seatle Mariners at 7:15. Tickets are located in sections 128-29 (Right Field Box) and can be purchased for $27 each, face value $65. The first 15,000 fans, 13 years and older will receive a Dark Mode jersey (see picture). Contact any Dragonette, Layna Richardson, or the Vineland office for more information. Proceeds help support the Vineland Dragonette and Dragon Dude Scholarship.

On Saturday, April 18th, three of our incredibly talented fourth graders took the stage with the East Central #7 Elementary Honor Choir. These dedicated students performed, with the guidance of clinician Taylor Bryson, alongside over 120 other students, creating music and memories!
