🎒 FREE Backpack & School Supply Distribution! 🎒

Desert Springs Middle School (DSMS) and Abundant Life Church are partnering to provide FREE backpacks and school supplies to the Desert Hot Springs community!

📅 Date: Saturday, July 25 @ Desert Springs Middle School

🕘 Time: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
📍 First come, first served

This is a community event for all Desert Hot Springs students. Join us in starting the school year prepared, confident, and ready for success!

📚🐺 Back to School Night at Julius Corsini Elementary! 🐺📚
We can’t wait to welcome our Coyote families back for an exciting evening as we kick off the 2026–2027 school year!
📅 Tuesday, August 4, 2026
🕔 5:00–6:30 PM
Join us to meet your child’s teacher, visit the classroom, and learn about the year ahead.
Evening Schedule:
📖 Session 1 (Classroom Presentation): 5:00–5:25 PM
📖 Session 2 (Classroom Presentation): 5:30–5:55 PM
📖 Session 3 (Classroom Presentation): 6:00–6:25 PM
⭐ During each classroom presentation, teachers will also share the Title I Presentation, providing important information about our school’s Title I program and how families can partner with us to support student success.
🚪 Doors open at 4:50 PM
Please enter through the MPR doors.
👕 Julius Corsini Coyote T-shirts and snacks will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
The evening will conclude at 6:30 PM.

Attention parents of incoming transitional kindergarten and kindergarten scholars: it's almost time for our TK & Kinder Resource Fair, and we invite all to stop by either CCHS on July 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. or DHSHS on July 30 from 5 to 7 p.m. to learn more about what to expect and school and district resources ahead of the 2026-27 school year. We had an amazing Career Day at Julius Corsini Elementary! 🎉

Our scholars had the opportunity to learn about a wide variety of careers from our incredible community presenters. From hearing firsthand experiences to asking thoughtful questions, our students were fully engaged and inspired about their future possibilities.

They also loved getting an up-close look at a fire truck 🚒 and police vehicles 🚓—such an exciting highlight of the day!

We are so grateful to our community members for taking the time to share their careers and provide our scholars with meaningful, real-world connections. Your support truly makes a difference!

We had a special visit today from Chief Steven Shaw of DHS Police, who joined us as our Guest Principal of the Day! 👮‍♂️📚

He spent time meeting our amazing scholars, reading stories in classrooms, and seeing all the great learning happening across our campus. Our students loved the opportunity to interact with a community leader and share what they are learning each day!

Thank you, Chief Shaw, for taking the time to visit and support our school. We appreciate your partnership and dedication to our community.
