This month, we've been focusing on the virtue of temperance. Temperance is all about self-control and moderation. It means finding a balance in how we approach our studies, friendships, and personal interests.

As young students, practicing temperance helps us:

1. **Manage Time Wisely** ⏰: By setting limits on activities like social media and video games, we can ensure we have enough time for homework and rest.

2. **Make Healthy Choices** 🥗: Temperance encourages us to choose nutritious foods and get enough sleep, which are crucial for our physical and mental well-being.

3. **Stay Focused** 🎯: It teaches us to concentrate on our goals without getting distracted by unnecessary temptations or peer pressure.

By embracing temperance, we learn to prioritize what truly matters and develop habits that lead to a balanced and fulfilling life.

- "Basketball season because it was a bonding experience and I really enjoyed it."
- "Camp Duncan—got to spend a lot of time with my classmates."

- **What are you most looking forward to in high school?**
- "Starting a new chapter and focusing on my priorities, faith, sports, meeting new people, and trying new things."
- "Having a fresh start and a bigger school."

- "Gym, playing games with my classmates."
