What a very special day!! Miss Kendall and I were invited to see a Behind the Curtain Exclusive Experience with Giordano Jazz Dance company at the Ruth Page Center!! Nan Giordano (as in Gus's daughter) hosted the event. She was absolutely lovely. ❤️️

We were in the rehearsal studio to view selections from "Red and Black" by Ray Leeper and a preview of their new world premiere, "Dumb Luck," choreographed by Al Blackstone, AND a tap duet premiere by Mike Minery (which he also came out of retirement to perform!)

Afterward, we were asked to stay and meet each of the dancers and have lunch with them at Gibsons in Chicago. These young dancers are a picture of joy, strength, elegance, strength, and power in performance.

If you'd like to see this incredibly talented ensemble, they will be performing at The Harris Theater on April 10-11!!

Parents and Grandparents! Enjoy a night to yourselves while your kids have a BLAST at AMA Academy of Performing Arts!

Kids will dive into the world of Zootopia with themed games, dancing, tumbling, crafts, and tons of imaginative fun with friends. It is a high energy, super fun evening in a safe and supportive environment.
