(SSS) TRIO at Oakton Community College is a federally funded grant program.
The Federal TRIO Programs (TRIO) are Federal outreach and student services programs designed to identify and provide services for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. TRIO includes eight programs targeted to serve and assist low-income individuals, first-generation college students, and individuals with disabilities to progress through the academic pipeline from middle school to postbaccalaureate programs.

This year for the Academic Success and Beyond workshop series we are trying something new, we are trying mini sessions. These workshops are 30 minutes long and are quick overview of important subjects. Today’s workshop is on “Using Your Syllabus to Succeed.” We will go over the components of the syllabus and how this is your roadmap for the semester. Join us! Link in bio!

We are hiring a new TRIO Student Ambassador for the Skokie Campus. We need someone who is a current Oakton TRIO student and will be available for the 2022-2023 academic year. The person should be able to work about 8 hours a week.
