U.S. Rep. Mike Quigley (4th from the left in the photo) visited Maryville’s Center for Children yesterday afternoon to tour the Children’s Healthcare Center and Maryville Crisis Nursery.

During his visit, Congressman Quigley learned how the Children’s Healthcare Center provides specialized care for medically fragile children and how the Crisis Nursery offers free, short-term care to young children whose families are experiencing a crisis.

Before leaving, Congressman Quigley shared encouraging words with the Maryville team, describing Maryville as “the light out of darkness.”

We are grateful to Congressman Quigley for taking the time to meet our team, learn about these two vital programs and recognize Maryville’s commitment to protecting children and strengthening families.

Congressman Quigley was joined by, left to right, Crisis Nursery Program Director Alejandra Ortiz, Children's Healthcare Center Program Director Mei Zhang, Administrator of Community Services Fred Smith, CHC Assistant Program Director Bridget Kern Woods, Associate Exec. Director Nina Aliprandi and Director of Development Megan Biasco.

Rain could not dampen this special day for Elvin and DJ!

Although the Chicago Bears Training Camp was closed to visitors on Aug. 11, because of the weather, the team made a special exception for Elvin, DJ and nurses Mercedes, Monse and Janet from our Children's Healthcare Center and Tina Hock for making the arrangements.

The group enjoyed an unforgettable experience and collected signatures from players including Jack Sanborn, Kyle Monangai, Jaylon Johnson, Caleb Williams, Tory Taylor, Colston Loveland, Rome Odunze and Dillon Thieneman.

Newly signed Bears player Wesley French also took time to pray with Elvin and DJ, making the visit even more meaningful.

Thank you to Mia Riese and the Chicago Bears for going above and beyond to create a memorable day for everyone! We are deeply grateful to Owner George McCaskey for spending time with our Maryville group.

Strength is a family journey. On Women and Family Day, we honor the resilient moms at Maryville Academy who are transforming their lives and nurturing their families with courage and grace.

Among them are the beautiful moms from our Maryville Academy Mother’s Recovery Home Network. Following a unique model of keeping mothers and their children together, we are not just changing their everyday lives but building a lifetime of hope.

Thank you to our incredible Maryville staff and community for walking alongside these families on their path to a brighter, healthier future.

Maryville was proud to be represented at the Roseland Back-to-School event last Saturday, where Michael Slater welcomed families and shared information about Maryville’s programs and services.

Community events like this provide an important opportunity to connect families with helpful resources as students prepare for a successful school year.

Thank you to Michael for representing Maryville and helping us continue our mission of protecting children and strengthening families.

It’s a beautiful day for golf at Merit Club!

The 32nd Annual IPGA-Maryville Gleason Cup Invitational is underway today in Libertyville, bringing together golfers, Illinois PGA professionals, sponsors and friends of Maryville in support of the Maryville Golf Academy.

For more than three decades, this special partnership has helped create opportunities for young people to learn the game of golf while developing confidence, responsibility, sportsmanship and skills that extend far beyond the course.

Thank you to our golfers, Illinois PGA professionals, sponsors, volunteers and supporters for making today possible and for investing in the young people we serve.

Here are a few scenes from today’s tournament!
