U.S. Rep. Mike Quigley (4th from the left in the photo) visited Maryville’s Center for Children yesterday afternoon to tour the Children’s Healthcare Center and Maryville Crisis Nursery.
During his visit, Congressman Quigley learned how the Children’s Healthcare Center provides specialized care for medically fragile children and how the Crisis Nursery offers free, short-term care to young children whose families are experiencing a crisis.
Before leaving, Congressman Quigley shared encouraging words with the Maryville team, describing Maryville as “the light out of darkness.”
We are grateful to Congressman Quigley for taking the time to meet our team, learn about these two vital programs and recognize Maryville’s commitment to protecting children and strengthening families.
Congressman Quigley was joined by, left to right, Crisis Nursery Program Director Alejandra Ortiz, Children's Healthcare Center Program Director Mei Zhang, Administrator of Community Services Fred Smith, CHC Assistant Program Director Bridget Kern Woods, Associate Exec. Director Nina Aliprandi and Director of Development Megan Biasco.
