Earlier this summer, a group of Willows Academy students had the incredible opportunity to travel and serve in Mexico while visiting Chalco Girlstown, a school operated by the Sisters of Mary that serves girls living in extreme poverty from across the country.
At Girlstown, students are provided with far more than an education. They receive a safe home, faith formation, mentorship, loving support, and the opportunity to build a brighter future. Through the generosity of donors from around the world, these young women are given the tools they need to break the cycle of poverty and pursue their dreams.
Inspired by this life-changing experience, Willows Academy is proud to support the Sisters of Mary through our Summer Service Project. This is a unique opportunity for our community to make a meaningful impact and help the Sisters of Mary continue their mission of educating and empowering young women in need.
