The Dollar General on Merle Hay is doing a Donation Drive for our Cattell Food Pantry!
If you know anyone who shops at this Dollar General, you can let them know that there will be a donation box at the front of the store for items.
Highest needs items include: laundry detergent, kid friendly snacks, microwavable meals, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dish detergent, and laundry detergent.

MORE THAN 500 BOOKS went home with our Mustangs today! Thank you for helping us grow lifelong readers!

Yesterday, Cattell had a visit from the Book Mobile! 📚💕
Every student got to browse from hundreds of books and pick TWO FREE BOOKS to bring home and read over break!

Deadline for ordering Thanksgiving Lunch tickets is FRIDAY (November 14th)!

**You can order tickets through Audrey in the front office or send cash (with a note on how many tickets you want) in with your child to give to their Homeroom Teacher. Audrey will make sure to send home your tickets with your student in a sealed envelope by the end of the day. Deadline is November 14th so we can get the correct amount of Turkey Dinner orders in time.***

Starting this weekend, Dollar General on Merle Hay will be running a clothing drive to benefit Cattell students!

There are always things we need at school (like pants for the nurse's office or sweatshirts for chilly days), and Dollar General has been such a great partner in helping to meet those needs!

Today all of our students will be coming home with their new winter coats and boots, thanks to our friends at Athene!
Students will have their names written on the tag of their coat and inside of their boots.

We are so grateful for our partnership with Athene and the volunteers who come back to Cattell year after year!

Parent-Teacher Conferences are just around the corner, and our AMAZING teachers will be working extra hard (and late!) to meet with families and support every student’s success.
We’d love to keep them fueled with some yummy snacks and drinks to show how much we appreciate all their hard work.

We are looking for donations of:
🧃 Drinks (water, soda, juice, coffee drinks)
🍫 Snacks (granola bars, fruit, chips, candy, homemade or store-bought treats)

🗓️ Please drop off by: October 22nd
📍 Where: ​Cattell Office (You can give any donations to Ms. Audrey or Mrs. Johnson!)
