We're excited to welcome Jess from Raccoon River Park & Nature Lodge to 2forU - West on September 23rd for a fun and interactive workshop all about birds! 🪺✨

Our children will have the opportunity to learn about different types of birds, explore how birds live and build their homes, and even create their very own bird nests. This hands-on experience is sure to be both educational and exciting for our little learners!

We can't wait for a day filled with discovery, creativity, and nature-based learning! 💙🌳🐦

🎨🖌️ Turning Trash Into Treasure! 🖌️🎨

Today, we gave some old oversized canvases a second life! Instead of tossing them out, our children got creative and transformed them into colorful works of art. 🌈✨

The kids had an absolute blast painting, exploring their creativity, and helping us recycle along the way. We love finding fun ways to learn, create, and make the most of what we have. 💙♻️ 🎨😊

🧱✨ More Than Just Blocks! ✨🧱

Block play may look simple, but there’s so much learning happening behind those little towers and buildings!

When children build with blocks, they are developing problem-solving skills, creativity, spatial awareness, balance, coordination, and early math concepts like counting, shapes, sizes, and patterns. 📐🔢

They’re also learning to plan, experiment, work together, communicate, and try again when a tower tumbles down. ❤️

And perhaps most importantly, block play gives children the freedom to use their imaginations and turn a handful of blocks into anything they can dream up! 🏗️🏠🚗

🌟 Meet Taylor! 🌟

We’re excited to introduce you to Taylor! Taylor is a college student studying to become an ultrasound technician and has been working with children for six years. 💕 She especially loves working with infants and getting to know all the little ones in her care!

A few fun facts about Taylor: she has two cats 🐱🐱, has visited more than five countries 🌎, and can kind of whistle! 😉

Taylor loves being a teacher because she enjoys watching her children grow and seeing their unique personalities develop. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys fun drinks, listening to music, and shopping! 🛍️🎶
